Coaching

We all need someone to lean on, whether it be a best friend, husband, wife or partner or someone independant that we turn to for advice. It's all too easy to think that we have to solve all our problems internally, that looking for help outside is something we just "shouldn't do".

In fact, it's much better to have someone you can call on, to talk things over with, to set goals and who will hold you to account. For that's the important part - holding the mirror up to you to help you identify your goals and your dreams and then take you through making them come true. And along the way it might be that you slip - and that's when you need your coach to help you get back on path.

This is the basis of what coaching is about. Helping you to look at your life, come to your own decisions, conclusions and ideas, and then coaching you through the steps to make them real. And this doesn't mean that your coach tells you what to do! Your coach will very much NOT tell you what to do, but what he or she WILL do is to assist you to your own realisations and your own choices and actions.
